Thoughts on medical cannabis

Medical cannabis has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. More and more people are now choosing medical cannabis over other pharmaceutical medications.

Pharmaceutical medications have various side effects that can harm the person’s health, these can even be life-threatening at times.

On the other hand, medical cannabis does not have any severe side effects that can be life-threatening. Medical cannabis can be used for managing symptoms associated with various conditions.

These conditions may include cancer, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy and seizures, HIV/AIDS, chronic pain, PTSD, Alzheimer’s disease, Anorexia, and more. Medical cannabis is now legal in 33 states, which shows that more people are realizing the effectiveness of medical cannabis treatments. However, it still remains illegal at the federal level.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved medical cannabis and considers it as a Schedule I drug. However, there are two cannabis-based medicines that are approved by the FDA.

These two medicines are for specific uses - one medicine is for managing nausea caused by chemotherapy, and the other one is for appetite stimulation in people suffering from AIDS who have experienced extreme weight loss. All the data about medical cannabis suggests that it can be a very effective treatment for various conditions.
